Career Pathways are a sequence of courses organized around industry themes. Classes are informed by current industry standards to better prepare students for the workforce. Courses are shaped to give students hands-on skills that showcase practical applications rather than just merely relying on textbooks.

Work-based learning connects what students learn in their career pathway courses to the workplace. This way they can see how the skills they learn in class apply to real work. Our business partners help support our students’ growth to better develop their future homegrown workforce from within the Castro Valley community and the greater Eden Area.
