CVHS Schedule Change Process

Course selections are made during the spring semester for the following school year. Counseling presentations are made to classes early in the second semester to educate students on course selections. Students select their classes through Aeries online student portal and by completing a Course Selection Form. When entering course requests, students must list two alternate courses for each class in case of scheduling capacity, or conflicts, especially for popular courses. Counselors then meet with students to review course selections.

Scheduling Timeline

Most classes are not repeatable for additional subject area credit. If a course is repeatable for credit, the course description will specify this. Most students will take 6 classes. Seniors on track to graduate may request a 5 class day (no 1^st or no 6^th - not guaranteed). Once students receive their schedule, they should review it for errors and can submit requests to review and resolve those issues.
