Grad Nite at Disneyland!

Grad night is a PTSA sponsored event for graduating seniors. This year students will be taking charter busses to Disneyland for the exclusive Disney Grad Nite adventure. Trip includes charter bus transportation to and from Disney, a park hopper pass for the day, and a Grad Nite ticket that gives students exclusive access to Disney California Adventures. Seats are limited. The bus leaves CVHS at 11:50 May 29th (graduation night) and returns to CVHS the morning of May 31st.

American Math Competition try-outs

Do you like solving challenging math problems? Here is a chance to show your talent in a national contest. The American Mathematics Competition is scheduled after school on Wednesday, February 5th.


If you are interested in trying out, please talk to your math teacher or Mrs. Han in room 308. You can register and get some resources. It’s first-come, first-served, so grab your chance today!

Anti-Vaping Task Force Meeting - Dec. 4th 4:00-5:30pm

Students, parents, and staff members are all welcome to join in the fourth meeting of our Anti-Vaping Task Force. Our plan is for two more meetings in



Nov. - Dec. to map out a community effort to address the issue of vaping among teens.

Food Backpack Program

We are once again happy to be partnering with the Alameda County Food Bank this year. Distribution of non-perishable food "backpacks" will begin this Friday, October 18th, at Marshall and Stanton elementary schools.
