play Trojans Smith Meadows at the wellness center we miss you happy 2021 we're excited to come at you with a introduction of our 2021 staff were happy to see you and hope you're doing well I want you to know a couple really important things we're here on campus and we are waiting for you ready for you there are lots of different ways you can get to us most most rapidly used to give us a call call the school they will get you over to red do you want to play some important values that we have here at the wellness center one is that we are one that's our motto We Are One not means that we are all connected as part of a community is part of a Campus Community Castro Valley Community human beings that I want to feel connected and care for each other so that's an important value of ours another value we want to make sure you understand I'm coming from the the wellness center is that we believe that black lives matter we believe that that again it's part of our community that is critical Baseline foundational values that we make sure that everyone is valued in our community and in particular are black lives in our black community members students and their family so it's an important piece I want you to care unless we want you to know that this is a center for you this whole place beautiful new building or waiting for you it was built for you and your needs and we're here to support you I in a confidential matter when you talk to us it is. business and we're going to work with you to make sure that you're safe and if you're not safe that we have ways of working with other people to make sure that you get what you need so we're really excited to introduce ourselves to you and I'm going to pass them on to my call Bradley Hite Road this is Miss Bartley and I work at the wellness center part time and I want you to know that we miss you so much our walls feel very very empty our room so very very empty and we're here for you and we're waiting for you to come back I'm one of the hopes that I have for the new year for 2021 and Beyond is that because we've experienced such isolation and separation from each other that we actually come back and recognize the great need for connection for relation for being together and for being able to talk out differences that we might have in a way that leads to Greater peace and greater connection and I'm going to pass it on now to my colleague selfie R1 High Trojans welcome my name is Miss Lao and the school social worker or student Advocate at the wellness center here I also have a New Hope for 2021 I am hopeful new Strength for each new day we know that through this time. Make it has been really really hard especially throughout the sense morning you guys have done amazing and I were so proud of you so just hang in there I'll talk to you soon and I will pass it to Sunday our partner hi everybody my name is Sandy I am a counselor from Eden counseling services and I love working with you guys I look forward to meeting you guys in person someday really really really really soon personally one of the cool things I'm looking forward to in 2021 is my ultimate edition of wow watching so fun of you ocean lovers out there love whale watching let's talk I'm proud of everything you guys are doing and hanging in there throughout this pandemic and I'm going to pass it on to Megan thanks hi everyone I Miss Megan and I am a counseling intern at the wellness center this year and four 2021 I'm really hopeful for continued and new connection that we will all have I will pass to my colleague Noel hey everyone how are you welcome to 2021 my name is Noel on the restorative justice coordinator at school one thing the life guarantees us is if we're going to get into trouble we're going to find fight we're going to go and find arguments what it doesn't guarantee is how do we repair it and that's where I come in so I'm here to help folks figure out when we get into this how do we create some repair and how do we make amends when it's needed so if that's something that you need reach out I'm at the wellness center this semester I'm also running one of the groups to group for young men for us to figure out how do we create a healing community weather this this year I'm really hopeful that there will be increased justice for all people and so with that I'm going to pass it over to my colleague Miss Jackson hello everyone I missed you and I am a new face at Castro Valley High School and most of you probably have not seen me before I am one of the new school psychologist and I work very closely with everyone in the wellness center to make sure that you guys get what you need to help you and support you through school so I am hopeful this year for positive attitudes and fresh start I am going to pass it to this Motel hi everyone I'm Jenny the office assistant at the wellness center this new year I am hopeful and ready to see you all back on campus and at the wellness center and eating all our snack and just being there so yeah hopefully soon guys hang in there I am going to pass over to Oma hi everyone I miss Alma I'm a new Social Work intern at the wellness this year and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and what makes you you and talking about whatever you choose to and my biggest biggest hope and wish for this year is that I get to meet you in person I am going to practice back to me again everybody isn't as bad as I'm back I'm just really hopeful that you guys will call us because we're sitting around waiting talk to you again our job is to make sure that you are you feel heard and you feel seen and you don't feel invisible and you don't feel isolated that's our job and no matter what you have on your mind or going on in your life we can get you and get you to the right people so we hope to see you very soon I'm going to take us to our end of our little welcome video and we're going to say a big in Trojan togetherness piece if everything's about the same time on mute 1 2 3 intelligence togetherness
